Pauleen Luna plays Lyvia, the eldest daughter of Commander Zion (as played by Ian De Leon), who initially began her role as the antagonist in the Galactic Force.
“I started off na may hatred sa kanilang lahat, especially to Gallian (played by Dennis Trillo),” Pauleen begins, explaining that her character held Gallian responsible for her sister (played by Karel Marquez) Lyka’s death. “And then, naging balimbing ako.”
Cutting the story short, Pauleen blames her character for all the chaos that is currently happening at the Galactic Force Space City. “It’s all my fault!”
Even after having taken some emotionally grueling scenes, Pauleen remains bubbly on the set of Zaido. And that’s because she is having so much fun.
“Actually, if you watch us sa set, the hardest part dito sa taping is to control ourselves from laughing!”
Pauleen points a finger at her co-star Ian as one of the reasons why the show is so much fun for her. She shares that when the two of them are in a scene together, they would just burst out laughing for no apparent reason. Well, no reason that anyone other than the two of them would understand.
“We’re such weirdos,” Pauleen laughs. She adds that a look from any of them would start of the laughter. “We know ourselves. Magtinginan lang kami, alam ko na ‘yung hirit niya.”
She also says the same of Isabel Granada, another late addition to the cast of Zaido.“Isa pa ‘yun! Mahirap ka-eksena, kasi tawa kami ng tawa!”
The young actress reveals that she enjoys spending time with the Amasonas as well.
“Sobrang sarap nilang kasama!”
Pauleen explains that when she started, she usually ended up being the only girl in the scene or she and Kris (Bernal) would be the only girls. “And then, nung nakakasama ko na sa scenes ‘yung Amasonas, sobrang saya!”
It also helps that the Galactic Force Space City set and the Kuuma Mothership sets are very near each other. “Mga ten steps away.”
And as Zaido comes to a close, and the characters get drawn to each other, Pauleen will definitely be working a lot more with the Amasonas. As for what else to watch out for, she teases "Let’s see kung mapu-prove (ni Lyvia) sa family niya na she loves them talaga. And if she really has a pure heart or hindi.”
